Crescencia Santiago, 83, of Summerville, wife of Hector Santiago, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at her home.
Funeral service was held Friday, April 27, 2012 at 1 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial was held at Dorchester Memory Gardens, Summerville. Visitation was from 6 until 8 o’clock Thursday evening. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 2090 Executive Hall Road, #130, Charleston, SC 29407.
Mrs. Santiago was born September 14, 1928 in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Juan and Josefa Anduze McKenzie. She attended schools in Puerto Rico. She was a member of several religious organizations and was a homemaker.
Surviving in addition to her husband are: one son: Hector Santiago (Evelyn) of Lakewood, New Jersey, one daughter: Gladys Morales (Luis) of Summerville, five grandchildren: Erick Santiago of New York City, New York, Ivonne Santiago of Queens, New York, Jason Morales of Miami, Florida, Jonathan Morales of Summerville and Justin Santiago of Miami, Florida, two great grandchildren: Erick Santiago, Jr. of New York City, Y and Khloe Morales of Summerville, one brother and one sister, both of Puerto Rico.
