Rubin Dangerfield, 72, of Lincolnville, widower of Christine Dangerfield, died April 30, 2012 at his residence.

Funeral service will be held Friday, May 4, 2012 at 11 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park, Charleston. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 until 8 o’clock Thursday evening. Flowers will be accepted.

Mr. Dangerfield was born September 25, 1939 in Charleston, son of the late Joe and Elizabeth Clark Dangerfield. He attended school in Summerville. He was a member of the Wassamassaw Indian Tribe. He was a truck driver of 38 years and a member of Maranatha Baptist Church.

Surviving are: two sons and three daughters: Kenneth Rubin Dangerfield of Ridgeville, Bonnie Lynn Dangerfield of Summerville, Sandra Rose McMullin of Providence, NC, Jeffrey Alan Dangerfield and Sharon Jane Dangerfield both of Lincolnville, 8 grandchildren: Kristina, Tracy, Jennifer, Rubin, Cindy, Jessica, Kenneth and Justin, 12 great grandchildren and four sisters: Martha Varner of Ladson, Frances Lee of New York, Corene Bedrose of New Jersey and Mary Dangerfield of Lincolnville.
