Anne Francis Lehman

Anne F. Lehman, 89, of Summerville, SC passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024. She was the daughter of the late William Sunderland and Elizabeth Murphy Sunderland. Anne was born in Shenandoah, PA and spent most of her time growing up there. She was blessed with 3 children, that she raised in New Jersey. She then moved to San Diego before settling in South Carolina. Anne was a member of St. John the Beloved in Summerville, SC. Anne enjoyed many things in life including reading, sewing, loving her animals, and most of all spending time with her beloved family. She was employed by United Airlines that fueled her love for travel. She then continued to work until she was 86 years old! She was known as a night owl and would stay up through the night working or watching home shopping networks. Anne was family to all and would do anything for anyone. Anne is survived by her loving children: William Lehman (Ann), Sean Lehman (Cheri), and Anne Denise Fisher (Richard); her sister, Elizabeth "Betsy" DelValle; her grandchildren: Christiana Sutton (Jimmy), Cordelia Fisher (Chris), Matthew Howarth, Jeremy Howarth, Angelique Marnell, and Emily Rice (Allen); her great grandchildren: Melany Hill, Samantha Klakken (Steven), Jackson Brown, Logan Pritula, Landin Pritula, Mason Wihelm, Jamison Sutton, Ty Brown, Kory Brame, Dalton Brown, Cole Brame, Annalynn Rice, Harper Rice, Sloane Rice, Nathaniel Lehman, Elise Lehman, and Colton Lehman; two great great grandchildren: Emma Klakken and Madilyn Hill as well as many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and all honorable family members. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, a grandson, Nathaniel Lehman; a great grand-in-law, DJ Hill; as well as a brother, William Sunderland, Jr. A Visitation of family and friends will be held on Friday, November 29, 2024, from 1pm to 2pm at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, 303 South Main Street, Summerville, SC 29483. The Funeral will begin at 2:00pm in the Chapel. Please join the family for a luncheon to celebrate her life at the Summerville Masonic Lodge, 111 N. Main Street, Summerville, SC 29483 (Park off E. Luke Ave in the lot behind the lodge).
