Braden Christopherson Hodges

Braden Christopherson Hodges, age 37, of Ridgeville, South Carolina passed away suddenly on March 4, 2023. Braden, was born on August 30, 1985, to Ray Hodges and Paige Anderson in Charleston, South Carolina. He attended Wando High School where he developed lifelong friendships. After graduation ¬¬he began a career in carpentry and home remodeling projects. He was a talented carpenter who successfully ran his own business for over ten years, Hodges Carpentry LLC. Braden continued to work in the field as a construction manager at Stier Supply. In 2011, Braden met the love of his life, Ariana, at a bonfire. They shared nine wonderful years of marriage together filled with laughter, love, and admiration for one another. Braden and Ariana went on to have two beautiful children, Blaise Michael and Finley Margaret. He was a devoted father and husband. Braden enjoyed playing video games, Nerf, and cracking jokes with his son, Blaise. His daughter, Finley, was the light of his life and they enjoyed snuggling, drawing, and playing Barbies and Legos together. Braden had many hobbies including: fishing, hunting, drawing, building, and nights spent with family and friends around the firepit. He is survived by his loving wife Ariana and two children Blaise (9) and Finley (6). His mother Paige Anderson (Dave) of Huger, SC, his father Ray Hodges (Nancy) of Summerville, SC, sister Katie Dupre (Michael) of Moncks Corner, SC, sister Rachel Ziemenski (Craig) of Dallas, TX, sister Jessy Beazley (Chase) of Hanahan, SC, brother Luke Hodges (Holli) of Summerville, SC, mother-in-law Sharon Hudson of Frederick, MD, father-in-law Eddie Hudson of Frederick, MD, sister-in-law Brittany Hudson (Matt) of Fayetteville, NC, and sister-in-law Savannah Carmona (Christopher) of Frederick, MD. He is also survived by his loving nephew and nieces—Jackson, Remley, Ellie, and Kennedy. Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of his life at James Dyal Funeral Home, 303 South Main Street, Summerville, on Saturday, March 11th at 1:00 p.m.
