Jose Luis Orozco

Born July 7, 1992, in Bakersfield California the third child of Eva Martinez and Jose Luis Orozco. More attended Albany Elementary, almond tree jr high, followed by Ceaser Chavez high school where he graduated in 2010. More than married Valentina Medina, they were married on March 6, 2013. More than enlisted into the military in his senior year of high school. Going to the Army was one of his goals and he truly enjoyed being a soldier and serving his country. More had the privilege of serving 9 months in Iraq. 9 months in Afghanistan, and finally 9 months in Kuwait. More was more than just an ordinary soldier he was Sargent. He would have the honor to supply his fellow soldiers with what they needed. More perused his education at Charleston Southern University where he majored in English in hopes of earning a bachelor's degree and later attending law school to practice immigration law. Outside of school and the military, he was the same goofy person we all grew to love. He loved to wear his soldier boots but what he loved more was to wear his converse and pro-keds. More enjoyed hiking and running, and most of all boxing. He would make everyone's day by singing and dancing to his beloved Selena. Even though he wasn’t the best singer and dancer he didn’t care he did the fake hair flip and moved his hips just to make everyone smile. More would joke around and say he was a talented black woman who could sing in a past life because he loved to sing so loudly. From the minute he woke up to the minute he fell asleep he had a song going. His life was a musical at times from starting with Aretha Franklin, Edda James, Michel Jackson, Lean rhymes and many more. If music wasn’t going he was watching and enjoying his favorite shows witch had to be Roseanne and the golden girls. That was More’s favorite thing is to smile and make sure everyone around him would be smiling or laughing. More would care and love everyone who came across him he was just a loving and caring person with a big heart. More would like to celebrate Halloween, Dia de Los Muertos. More would love Valentina to make his favorite homemade pizza and no matter the meal he would request his cookies and cream. Overall More left the biggest scare in our hearts leaving so suddenly but he gave us so many laughs. We know you’re at peace and is dancing with Selena and showing her the right way to do the washing matching. We will miss you dearly and will soon see you again. We love you More!
