Kaycee Fisher

On Tuesday our family lost another piece of our hearts. The world lost a beautiful soul and the brightest of lights. Heaven welcomed a spectacular angel and we know she now shines even brighter. KayCee Ann Fisher passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at the age of 33. KayCee was born on July 12, 1989. She was the youngest daughter of Mike and Brenda Fisher (Knight). She was raised in Summerville, SC and grew up surrounded by her family and lots of friends. KayCee was an amazing mixture of the best qualities. Her disposition has always been happy, bubbly and smiling. She was the girl best described as, “As beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside” and it’s never been truer. She’d be the first person to ask how she could help you, and she truly meant it. She was also hilarious! She could find humor in the most random things. Some of the funniest memories are when she wasn’t even trying to make anyone laugh. She, unintentionally, had such timing that her crazy questions or statements could make you laugh again, even days later just thinking of her. She was a joy, so special and so loved. Kaycee also loved her books and spent a lot of time reading the last few years. Her collection of scripture, devotionals and daily affirmations were found underlined and highlighted with the pages lovingly worn. She loved God and drew strength and resilience from her faith. KayCee is survived by her parents Brenda Knight and Michael Fisher (Romona); her paternal grandmother ‘Nana’ - Jean Fisher; Sisters - Nicole Fisher (Shawn), Cherelle Sekula (Bill) and one brother - Joseph Gardner. She also leaves behind nephews Peyton Sekula, Hunter Gardner, Gage Mizzell and Bryson Mizzell; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Kaycee was predeceased by her maternal grandfather ‘Papa’ – Clyde Knight Jr. and paternal grandfather ‘Poppa’ – Jim Fisher; maternal grandmother and step-grandfather – Mary and David Driggers. She was most recently predeceased by two of her nephews, Triston and Parker Sekula. Last but not least, KayCee also leaves behind her beloved puppie, ‘Ollie’. He meant the world to her and brought her pure happiness. She adored him and told him every day that he was her ‘baby’. His little heart is broken too. The visitation will be held at James A. Dyal Funeral Home in Summerville, SC on Saturday, December 17th from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. The burial ceremony will be held privately by the family on a later date.
