In Loving Memory of Kelly Renee Rowley There are some people whose love becomes the foundation of an entire family. Kelly was one of those beloved souls. On Sunday, July 12, 2026, Kelly Renee Rowley, 56 years young of Summerville, South Carolina, peacefully entered the healing Gates of Heaven while listening to her worship songs and surrounded by her immediate family. Born on July 2, 1970 in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, Kelly was the beloved daughter of Karen Anita Milliron and the late James Carl Painter. In 1999 Kelly and Dales journey took them to the sunny coast of South Carolina where they laid down their roots and called home. Kelly was always encouraging, caring, and helping others. She found great joy in serving others in need by being a registered nurse, holding many job titles throughout her 34 year nursing career. She also continued to help and support people through becoming a realtor as well. She guided people and families to a place where they can call home, making sure their experience was a positive and special one. Kelly and Dale shared an incredibly rare and special kind of love that showed in their devotion to one another. 36 years together with 34 of those years spent in a loving and devoted marriage centered around Jesus, family and their love for one another. “Dale-Bean and “Kell-Bell” are the love of each other’s lives. Their love is once in a lifetime kind of love that will continue to live on through the family, friends, and the memories Kelly and Dale made throughout the years. Kelly’s greatest joys in life were Jesus, her family and friends, and all things pink. She treasured every opportunity to spend time with those she loved, making countless memories on game nights, and having family and friends over for a meal around the table. With her welcoming hugs, warm smile, and bright laughter, everyone would leave with “we cant wait to do this again,”big smiles on their faces, full stomachs, and leftovers with a little sweet treat, to take home. Kelly had a passion and was exceptionally talented at baking. She went on and opened her own Home Bakery — By His Grace Bakery — in November 2025. Her two sourdough starters named Pearl and Louie, made the most delicious cinnamon rolls, breads, and a variety of cookies that would make you want to slap your knee because it was so good. She made other delicious sweet treats as well, like her famous chocolate covered pretzels, strawberries, and cashews. She loved sharing her delicious baked goods with anyone and everyone, and it always came in the cutest packaging that would make anyone smile. Kelly leaves behind her husband, Dale Albert Rowley, her Babygirl, Jenna Rae Morris, a son-in-law, Stephen Matthew Morris, her mother, Karen Anita Painter, and her big Sissy, Laurie Anita Sisk and her brother-in-law, John Gilbert Sisk, AKA “Jack”. She also leaves behind more loving family members and countless friends whose lives were made brighter through her beautiful smile, her kindness, and her fun-loving personality that everyone loved and adored. Though we prayed for healing after Kelly’s heart transplant, her legacy and genuine compassion for helping others lives on by being able to give such a tremendous and honorable gift of having the ability to be an organ donor through Sharing Hope. Her generosity gave someone the opportunity to heal and be able to enjoy life as she once did. Our grief is immense because our love for Kelly is immeasurable. She was and still is the heart of our family. Though she is deeply missed by so many, our family finds comfort in the many cherished memories she leaves behind and the lasting impact she has made on so many lives during her short 56 years here on Earth with us. Until we can squeeze you again. You will forever be our home. Kelly’s Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 10am-12pm at Crossroads Community Church - 505 Gahagan Rd, Summerville, SC, 29485 WEAR PINK IN HONOR OF KELLY! If y’all knew Kelly, y’all know her love for anything PINK ran deep. Our family is asking everyone that will be attending Kelly’s Celebration of Life, to please wear something PINK in honor of the incredible life she lived, and the countless lives she has forever changed.
