Randy Cadwell Arrant Sr.

Randy Cadwell Arrant, Sr. 73, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered eternal rest on Thursday, July 2, 2026. Born on November 19, 1952, in Charleston, South Carolina, Randy was a loving husband, devoted father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, cherished brother, uncle, and friend. He treasured his family above all else and was happiest when surrounded by those he loved. His kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family will be remembered always. Randy is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen Theresa Arrant; his son, Randy Arrant and his wife, Chi Chi Arrant; and his daughter, Andrea Lynn Arrant Delia and her husband, Corey. He was the proud grandfather of Donna Jean Smith and her husband, Aryn Saulter; Hope Marie Smith-Arrant; Paul David Smith III and his wife, Tory May Smith; Dillon Arrant; and Daniel Arrant. Randy was also blessed with four treasured great-grandchildren: Drea Rose Thames, affectionately known as "Ding-Dang-Doodle"; Jaysen Saulter and Jacksen Saulter, lovingly called "The J Team"; and Mayblossom Smith. He is also survived by his siblings, Denny Arrant and his wife, Rebecca; Terry Arrant Molica and her husband, Mark; Lynn Valentine; Tonya Guzman; Kay Beneventano; and Jody Arrant. He leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, including Jay Beneventano and his wife, Bethany; Rhonda Heartly; Christian Sampsel; DJ Valentine; Ashley Arrant; Hannah Arrant; Zach Guzman; and Luke Guzman. He is also survived by his great-nieces and great-nephews: Gracelynn Beneventano, Grady Beneventano, Andrew McGee, Alexis Shaw, Emerson Guzman, Raelynn Sampsel, Kaylee Sampsel, Mason Sampsel, Taylor Heartly, and Chase Heartly. He was preceded in death by his parents: Walter and Ruby Arrant; beloved sister, Judy Arrant Sampsel, and his cherished nieces, Brandy McGee and Chanel Watson. Randy's love, strength, and devotion to his family will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy of love and laughter will continue through the generations of family he adored. The family will receive friends during a visit from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at James A. Dyal Funeral Home 303 s. Main Street Summerville, SC 29483 Military Honors will be rendered at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, South Carolina.
