Obituary for Raymond “Ricco” Emilio Suazo Jr With deepest sorrow, we announce that Raymond “Ricco” Emilio Suazo Jr passed away, unexpectedly on August 24, 2023, at the age of 49. Ricco is now with his father Raymond Emilio Suazo and his son Skilor Lee Suazo in heaven. He is survived by his loving family; Mother Angelica Santiago; wife Christina Suazo; children Raymond Emilio Suazo III, Enrique Luis Suazo, Rayce Makaden Clark, and Leticia Angelica Suazo; siblings Angelica Rosie Espinal, Luz Maria Banda, Pedro Luis Rodriguez, Suzanna Suazo, and James Omar Luciano. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Raymond “Ricco” was born on September 23, 1973, in Bronx, NY to Raymond Emilio Suazo and Angelica Santiago. He grew up in New York and was always a proud New Yorker. After moving to Summerville, SC he married and welcomed 3 beautiful boys into his world. He loved all his children very much. In every corner of life, where Ricco traveled, he made friends that he loved and loved him in return. He brought so much love and joy in our lives and to those who were around him. He was the kindest, funniest, most talented person you’ll ever know. Raymond “Ricco” was very talented, he often indulged in karaoke because he was a amazing singer. His family would call him the “king” of karaoke. He was passionate and dedicated writer. His poems were the most beautiful you’ve ever heard. He won a poetry contest in NYC; called “A Mans Growth”. He was so proud of that accomplishment. He was an active and devout member of his community and often helped anyone and everyone who crossed paths with him. He didn’t have much but he never hesitated to give anything and everything he had to others in need. He will be forever remembered for his beautiful smile, gentle eyes, caring heart, loving embrace and unconditional love. Your laughter will be missed. Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate his life and find comfort that he is in heaven watching over us.
