Rebecca Myers

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rebecca Myers, lovingly known to many as "BB," who left this world on August 15, 2025, at the age of 57. Born in Charleston, South Carolina, on December 1, 1967, Rebecca was the cherished daughter of the late Arthur King and Della King, who survives her. Throughout her life, she was affectionately called many names: Little Bird, Becca, Momma, Momma B, Bebert, but the one that held her heart the most came from her grandchildren: BB. Rebecca shared a loving marriage with her husband, Steven Myers, for 20 beautiful years. Their bond was built on laughter, mutual respect, and the kind of love that weathered life’s ups and downs with grace and devotion. Together, they created a home filled with warmth and built a life centered around faith, family, and loyalty. Rebecca devoted her life to caring for others. She began her career as a nurse, touching countless lives with her compassion and soft strength, and later followed her love for animals into the field of veterinary technology. Whether caring for people or pets, Rebecca brought warmth and dedication to all she did. Family was at the center of Rebecca’s world. She loved nothing more than gathering everyone around the table to share a home-cooked meal. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, love, and laughter. And when she wasn’t cooking at home, she could often be found enjoying a favorite meal at Olive Garden. To those who knew her, Rebecca was more than a daughter, mother, or grandmother—she was simply "Mom" to everyone. Her spirit was nurturing, her love unwavering, and her presence a steady light in the lives of all who were lucky enough to know her. She leaves behind a family who adored her, a community who will miss her deeply, and a legacy of love, strength, and kindness that will endure. She is survived by her loving husband, Steven Myers; her children: Craig Myers (Savannah) and Katelyn Wagley (Lewis); her grandchildren: Carson, Victor, and Janie; her brother, Jeb King; her nephews: Jason, Joshua, and Cody; as well as countless friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 11am to 12pm at Sauldam Baptist Church, 5945 County Line Road, Ravenel, SC 29470. The memorial service will begin at 12pm in the Church.
