Robert Terry Curtis Johnson, Jr., 26, of Summerville, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 21, 2026. Born on May 28, 1999, in Savannah, he was the beloved son of Robert Terry Curtis Johnson, Sr. and Stacey Johnson Smith. Curtis grew up in Savannah, where he created lifelong friendships and became known for his outgoing personality. He married the love of his life, Haley Kathleen Svetlana Johnson. Curtis found joy in spending time outside, whether on the golf course, at the ballfield, or simply enjoying time with family and friends. He was an avid sports enthusiast who proudly cheered on the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves. Curtis worked as a Project Manager for Advanced Door Systems, where he was respected for his strong work ethic, leadership, and dedication. No matter where life took him, he carried himself as a true gentleman, always thoughtful, respectful, and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be remembered for his warm smile, infectious personality, and the way he made everyone feel valued and welcome. He is survived by his loving wife, Haley Kathleen Svetlana Johnson and their dog, Dale “Murphy” Johnson; his parents: Robert Terry Curtis Johnson, Sr. (Alyssa) and Stacey Johnson Smith; his siblings: Arianna Johnson (Zach Fredrickson), Jacob Johnson (Madison), Mercedes Johnson, Jaxson Johnson, and Sayler Johnson; his mother and father in laws’: Tracie and Rob Bailey and Mark and Pam Massenburg; his brother and sister in laws’: Ryan Massenburg, Ryan Bailey (Taylor), Tyler Silvers (Stephanie), Kayla Pope, and Jason Pope; his grandparents: Vicky and Skeeter Langford; his lifelong friend, Chris Gilgen and his wife Michaela; as well as numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: John Beasley, Karen Brock, and Robert Terry Johnson. A visitation of family and friends will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2026, from 10am until 12pm at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, 303 S. Main Street, Summerville, SC 29483. The funeral service will begin at noon in the Chapel. Burial will immediately follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville, SC 29485.
