Debra Ann Clawson
March 3, 1952 - October 13, 2021
It is with profound sadness, we announce the passing of Debra “Debbie” Everard Clawson, our loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all whose lives she touched. She became an angel on October 13, 2021 in Summerville, SC. Debbie was born on March 3, 1952, in Michigan to Allan and Grace Everard. She is preceded in death by her soulmate and loving husband, Michael Clawson, her parents Allan and Grace Everard, and siblings: Allan Everard Jr., Sue Debney, and Pat Vincent. Debbie is survived by her brothers: Joseph and Jerry Everard, her children: Nicole Clawson (boyfriend Steve Turko), John Clawson (wife Stephanie), Kim Keller (husband Jeff Keller), and Lori Clawson Slagle; her grandchildren; Jordan (wife Shy), Morgan, Riley, Madison, Alyssa, Johnny (wife Megan), Jacob, Jill, Paige, Jennifer, Lauren, Cory, Alex, Mckenzie (husband Noah) and Mitchell; her great grandchildren; Avery, Camryn, Weston, Luke, and soon to be, Brooks. Throughout Debbie’s life, she worked at Westinghouse, worked at a dental office formerly and proud owner of Yorktown Cafe, and owned many rental properties. She was a true patriot and loved God and Country. Her love for her dog, Diego was like a love she would have for a child. Some of her favorite things were watching her soap operas, avid m&m lover, listening to Anita Baker and Bruno Mars, and last but not least spending time with her family. Debbie was one that never failed to recognize someones special day, graduation, birthday, anniversaries, weddings, and the births of her grandchildren. No holiday passed without a card from Grandma (even if they were always late). She was always there at someones time and need, always provided an ear to listen, a hug you could feel to your toes and the best advise. Her smile and contagious laugh is what will be missed the most. Her love is an example few could ever match, but one all should strive to accomplish. Our loss is Heavens gain and she is with her husband and family celebrating and enjoying her reward for a life well-lived. We love you.
