James “Jamie” Broward Dukes, Jr. 25, of N. Charleston, passed away on February 15, 2021. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 9 o’clock at St. Theresa the Little Flower Catholic Church, 11001 Dorchester Rd., Summerville, SC 29485. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Rd., Summerville, SC 29485. Facial Coverings and social distancing are required. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Charleston Animal Society, 2455 Remount Rd., N. Charleston, SC 29406. James was born on August 7, 1995, in Mt. Pleasant, SC, son of James “Brad” Broward Dukes, Sr. (Nga Ha) of N. Charleston and Mary Green (Bryan Muckenfuss, Sr.) of Ravenel. He attended Fort Dorchester High School. He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, working in the yard, and Gamecock football. Survivors in addition to his parents are: sister, Stephanie Dukes of Hanahan; grandmother, Patricia McConnell of N. Charleston; aunts and uncles: Sharon Quinn (James) of Hanahan and Catherine Babbitt (Michael) of Culpeper, VA; and cousins: Tyler Jones, Kyle Jones, Ryan Jones, McKenzie Jones, Desiree Babbitt, and Ray Babbitt. He was predeceased by grandparents: Mary Christmas Dukes, Broward Dukes, and Robert McConnell. A memorial message may be written to the family by visiting our website at www.jamesadyal.com.
