Beloved wife of Charlie Doscher and Mother to Olivia, Hayden and Grace. Preceded in death by her Father David C. Barclay and daughter Olivia Claire. Survived by her husband Charlie Doscher, son Hayden Doscher and daughter Grace Doscher all of Summerville S.C. Mother Dorothy Croft of Alamogordo NM, Mother Jane Barclay of Dothan AL. Siblings, Elise Scott (Kevin) of Summerville S.C.; Renee' Whorton of Petaluma C.A., Roy Ruppert of Callen W.V., Denise Lundbland of Goose Creek S.C., Davida Jackson of Navarre FL and Christopher Barclay (Michele) of Milton FL. Best friend and partner in crime, Fran Bartlett (John) Born in Charleston to David and Dorothy Barclay. Raised in North Charleston and graduated North Charleston High School she went on to have a career as an Optical Technician. She passed into glory on September 29th, 2023, after a long hard fight with Early Onset Frontal Lobe Dementia. God rest her soul. She married the love of her life Charlie and was Mother to Olivia, Hayden and Grace, whom she loved with all of her heart. Her family was the center of her world. As a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt or adoptive Mom of all the kids' friends, her bright light, compassion and love was bestowed on all. Kiki loved all aspects of life, but a good book was a welcomed break in her busy schedule. Her true passion was music, and she had a beautiful voice. She loved to be with her family and friends, special occasions, holidays or impromptu trips to the beach; she could be found laughing and cutting up with her loves. She loved to sing, dance and write. The artistic things were a huge part of her life. She even married the drummer. Some of her favorite singers were Anita Baker, Sada and Sarah McLaughlin, who she sounded a lot like. If it looks like an angel and sounds like an angel and walks like an angel, then surly she was our Angel on earth. If anyone needed her help, love or support in any way she was sure to give it. She was exceptional. As a mother her children never lacked for nurturing, protection or love. Ever heard of the term "Mama Bear"? You'd find her picture under the definition. Another term comes to mind when you think of her marriage, "Meant to be". She and Charlie embodied what we all hope to find in a marriage. The love of your life. Love, first and foremost, was epic, both loving the other.... More. Teamwork, compromise and willingness to put the good of the other, always produced a secure safe space where they could laugh, joke and determine the next chapter of their lives. Suffice to say, they worked really well together. Daughter, she loved and honored her parents. Sister, she loved and honored her siblings. Aunt, Cousin, or any other descriptive branch of family, she loved and honored them. Friends, co-workers or acquaintance, she loved and honored them. Any person, animal or living thing who ever had the pleasure of crossing her paths had the fortune to know true genuine light, love and friendship of a most extraordinary woman. She gave of herself freely, loved fiercely, and laughed readily every chance she got. She lived life and it was a good life. She seems to glide effortlessly on the warm summer breeze, she shines, casting the warm glow of inspiration on the hearts of those fortunate enough to behold her. It was if she were writing her own self into existence; these words described her perfectly. When she comes to mind, do not mourn, see her beautiful smile, hear her melodious laughter, you will have no choice but to smile back. She is so loved, will be so missed. We will love her forever.
