Lawrence Wayne Kalinowski

Lawrence “Wayne” Kalinowski, 73, of Robbinsville, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 in Summerville, SC, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, NJ, Wayne resided in Robbinsville, NJ for 37 years. Wayne started his career as a landscaper for Kalinowski Landscaping with his brother, Kenneth Kalinowski. He continued his career as a co-owner of Windsor Farm and Market, West Windsor NJ, with his cousin Paul Keris. Being the co-owner of Windsor Farm and Market was his pride and joy. Windsor Farm and Market was the first Agritainment farm of its kind, bringing the pumpkin festival, hayrides, and haunted hayrides to the area. Wayne was a dedicated member of the community and found pride in the joy that their business brought to families. Wayne was a graduate of Princeton High School. He enjoyed spending time at the farm with friends, playing cards in his barn with the guys, vacationing, and golf trips, especially with his friend, the late George Field. One of the things Wayne was the proudest of was restoring his 1935 Oldsmobile. Wayne was a dedicated family man. He loved his family and 7 grandchildren. He loved baseball, driving on the tractor, WaWa coffee, trips to the boardwalk for Maruca’s Pizza and family vacations to South Carolina and Costa Rica. Wayne was predeceased by his mother, Edna Kalinowski, and father-in-law, and mother-in-law, John and Alice McGuire. Also predeceased by his aunt and uncles who were an influential part of his upbringing. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Kathy Kalinowski; his daughter, Jennifer Barnes and Tina Franc and husband, Joseph. Wayne is also survived by his grandchildren: Stephen, Daniel, Benjamin, Samuel, Vincent, Alexandra, and Dean; his brother Kenneth Kalinowski and his wife Paula “Peshie” Kalinowski; brother-in-law, John “Jay” McGuire; special nephews Michael and Mathew Kalinowski and their families, cousins Paul Keris, Joe Keris and Joey Keris and his godson, Andrew Keris. Private Catholic viewing and funeral services will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023, at 10am at the James A. Dyal Funeral Home followed by a mass at St. John The Beloved and burial at Dorchester Memory Gardens in Summerville, SC. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, from 6pm to 9pm at The Boathouse at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, NJ.
