Thomas O’brien Riley, 64, of Ridgeville, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at his residence. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 1 o’clock to 3 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A memorial service will begin at 3 o’clock. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital www.stjude .org Tommy was born on May 22, 1957 in Manning, SC, son of the late Jerry Riley, II and Barbara Dantzler Ardis. He retired from Giant Resource Recovery where he worked from 1989 to 2013. He enjoyed spending time with his best friend of 33 years, Shawn Dupree and wife Rhae. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, going out on the boat, and playing golf. Tommy was a huge Carolina Gamecocks fan. Survivors include: Daughter, Amber Bendle, 42 years old and Wife, Lakyn Bendle: 3 grandchildren - granddaughter Brittany, 20; grandson Jade, 17; granddaughter Lauren, 13. Of Florence, SC and Daughter, Ashley Riley-Hoover, 35 years old and husband Alex Hoover. 3 grandsons: Trevin, 14. Lawson, 2. Kasein, 4 months. Of Moncks Corner, SC; his sister, Virginia Anne Bailey of Memphis, TN; and one niece and three nephews. In addition to his late parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Jerry T. “Buck” Riley, III.
