William "Foye" Lafoye Davis

William “Foye” Lafoye Davis, 89, of Summerville, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at The Village at Summerville. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 11 o’clock at Summerville Baptist Church, 417 Central Ave., Summerville, SC 29483. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Summerville Baptist Church Building fund, 417 Central Ave, Summerville, SC 29483 or The Village at Summerville (PCSC), 201 W. 9th N. Street, Summerville, SC 29483. Foye was born on July 13, 1932 in Greenville, SC, son of the late William Frank and Lillie Mae Davis. He was a member of the US Air Force and retired from the US Air Force Civil Service. He was a member of Summerville Baptist Church. Foye enjoyed his church, gardening and watching NASCAR. Survivors include: two sons: Steven Davis (Arlene) of Summerville and Randy Davis (Linda) of Summerville; four grandchildren: Chelsea Davis (Ryan Watson) of Charleston, Logan Davis of Summerville, Kiefer Davis of Summerville and Bryce Davis of Summerville; and great grandson, Keegan Davis. In addition to his late parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Alma Davis and second wife, Sandra “Candy” Davis.
