Fani Malikiosi Terry, 82, of North Charleston, widow of Maj. John W. “Jack” Terry, peacefully passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, July 20, 2016. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Bethany United Methodist Church, Friendship Circle Room, 118 W. 3rd South St, Summerville. Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethany United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens, Charleston. Fani was born on March 12, 1934 in Volos, Greece, daughter of the late Petros and Vasiliki Malikiosi. She was a Greek citizen by birth but was also very proud to be an American citizen. She spent many years as the wife of an Air Force Officer, living in different countries and many states before making Summerville her home in 1971. Fani was a faithful member of Bethany United Methodist Church for over 40 years and valued the friendships she made in the Searchers Sunday School Class. Fani was an active volunteer for over 20 years with Summerville Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, cooking, playing bingo and playing bridge with a special group of friends for many years. For the past two years, Fani made many new friends with both the staff and residents at The Bridge at Charleston. Fani was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She will remain in the hearts of her family forever. Fani is survived by two daughters: Marie Bosch (Mike) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Liane Kerr (Jamie) of Daniel Island, SC; five grandchildren: Stephanie Bosch of Florence, Rebecca Bosch of Mt. Pleasant, Collin Kerr, Riley Kerr & Jack Kerr all of Daniel Island; one sister: Mary Sboros of Volos, Greece; two brothers: Taki Malikiosi and Pano Malikiosi both of Volos, Greece. The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the caring staff at The Bridge at Charleston and Beacon Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, P.O.
