Francisca Deseo Encarnacion

Francisca Deseo Encarnacion, 73, of Ladson, wife of the late Rodelio Leona Encarnacion, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Roper St. Francis Hospital. Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Monday, September 27, 2021 from 10 o’clock to 12 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A Funeral mass will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 1 o’clock at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, 28 Sumter Ave., Summerville, SC 29485. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations to the family would be much appreciated. Francisca was born on October 4, 1947 in General Trias, Cavite, Philippines, daughter of the late Andres and Soledad Deseo. She was known to many of her friends and family as Fanny or Frannie. She was a college graduate of University of the East in Manila, Philippines. This is where she met her late husband Rody and were married for 16 years. After her late husband’s passing, Francisca raised her 3 children on her own with the help of her eldest daughter Iris. It strengthened their bond as a family. She enjoyed working in retail starting at Babies “R” Us and then at Wal-Mart for 15+ years with her many wonderful coworkers that became friends. Francisca was part of a very close-knit family. Always together for gatherings, weekly to monthly family visits, and good eats. She enjoyed traveling with her family from road trips to the mountains and beaches to traveling the world. She loved cooking, gardening, watching TV and movies, dancing, singing, and playing the piano. She loved a variety of music from Hip Hop to her favorite Oldies. Francisca was young at heart and would spread happiness, love, and laughter to everyone she knew. Survivors include: three children: Iris Deseo Encarnacion Borja (Edmond) of Summerville, Andrewayne Deseo Encarnacion of Ladson, and Kimberly Encarnacion Perez (Jose) of Lexington; two grandchildren: Leonardo Rodelio Perez and Lucinda Adaline Perez; and siblings: Josefina Deseo Olimpo, Teofilo Arnecillo Deseo, Guadalupe Deseo Bunsoy, Estelito Arnecillo Deseo(late), Benigno Arnecillo Deseo, Edgardo Arnecillo Deseo, Roberto Arnecillo Deseo, and Maria Theresa Deseo Custodio.
