Susan Renee’ Stewart, unconditionally loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend, 53, of Summerville, SC entered into heavenly peace at home surrounded by her family on the evening of January 3, 2014 after a fearless battle with an advanced stage cancer. Susan Renee’ was born on July 11, 1060 in Homestead, FL. After traveling throughout the US and Asia with her parents and three siblings, her family settled in Summerville, SC in 1972. She attended Summerville High School and Trident Technical College. Susan was a true lover of life. Her family and friends always came first and her pets a close second. With an artist’s soul, Susan always found the beauty in all of God’s creations. She never met a stranger and extended her hand in whatever and whenever she could help someone. She taught by example, and was self-less, affectionate, a light to others right up until her death. She is survived by her children; Jennifer Locklair Clark (husband Eric Clark) of Charleston, SC and sons; Ray Stanley Locklair of Summerville, SC and Michael David Stewart of St. Elmo, IL and one precious, love of her life, granddaughter, Locklair Ellusan (Lola) Clark. She is also survived by her mother, Jimmie LaBoone Harrison and sisters Rebecca Harrison Cross (husband Joe Cross) of Summerville, SC and Kimberly (Sunny) Carter of Charleston, SC and two nieces, Stephanie Nicole Cross and Harrison Paige Cross all of Summerville, SC and one nephew, Chandler Scott Carter of Charleston, SC. She was preceded in death by her loving father, Jimmie Reid Harrison and older brother Barry Reid Harrison. The family would like to thank the caring staff of Hospice Care of South Carolina of Dorchester and Charleston counties as well as all of her loving friends. All are welcome to attend a celebration of her life that will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 2 o’clock at 1 Summer Place (home at very end of East Ashley Avenue) Folly Beach, SC.
